Free Resources

"The Giggle Quotient" offers a treasure trove of free resources and activities designed to help children unlock their emotional potential. Below are some activities that can be done with kids at home-

Feelings Bingo:

Create a Feelings Bingo game by making bingo cards with various emotions written on them. Instead of numbers, use images or words that represent feelings. This game is not only fun but also helps children recognize and understand different emotions.

Sculptures: Provide modeling clay or playdough and ask children to sculpt emotions. They can mold their interpretation of happiness, sadness, or any other feeling. This hands-on activity helps them express emotions in a tactile way.

The Time Capsule: Gather a selection of items or objects that represent different emotions. Place them in a box, and seal it as an "Emotion Time Capsule." Ask children to write a letter to their future selves explaining the significance of each item and how they felt at the time.

Feelings Recipe Book: Create a "Feelings Recipe Book" where each page features an emotion as an ingredient. Ask children to write or draw what ingredients make up each emotion and how they can mix them to create a unique emotional experience.

The ABCs: Assign each letter of the alphabet a specific emotion (e.g., A for "Angry," B for "Brave," C for "Curious"). Challenge children to come up with words or phrases related to each emotion. It's a playful way to build emotional vocabulary.

Emotion in Music: Explore emotions through music by listening to different pieces of music and discussing how they make you feel. Encourage children to share their emotional responses to the music and even create their own soundscapes using instruments or everyday objects.
